Job summary

Summit Polymers is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to install, inspect, troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical and mechanical equipment in our injection molding facility. You will perform preventive maintenance on molding machines, paint lines and process water systems, and mentor apprentices on the shop floor.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, at least 2 years of manufacturing experience, and a journeyman card preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Journeyman card preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of related manufacturing experience.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and monitor apprentice as part of the maintenance team.
• Perform preventive maintenance on injection molding and related systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical and mechanical equipment.
