Job summary

MSCCN is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support 12-hour production shifts in a manufacturing environment. You will work with seasoned technicians to diagnose and repair equipment, focusing on injection and compression molding lines to keep production running smoothly.

The role emphasizes strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot quickly. Prior molding experience is a plus, and a safe, clean work environment is provided.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical abilities and experience in general machine maintenance.
• Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Experience with injection/compression molding is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness.

Responsibilities

• Maintain injection and compression molding machines for the 12-hour shift.
• Clear jams, restart lines, perform minor repairs to ensure efficiency.
• Diagnose mechanical and quality problems, determine repairs.
• Adjust machinery independently to maintain efficiency and minimize non-conformances.
• Monitor materials to ensure correct amounts during shift.
• Minimize scrap and downtime during color changes.
