Job summary

TH Plastics, Inc., a custom injection molder serving the appliance and automotive industries, seeks an experienced Machine Maintenance Technician in Findlay, Ohio. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing injection molding machines ranging from 80T to 1500T and supporting equipment on a climate-controlled production floor.

You will read schematics, wire electrical circuits, perform plumbing installations, and troubleshoot robots, PLCs, and vision systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
• Two-year technical degree in mechanical or electrical maintenance preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Experience in injection molding.
• Able to read schematics and blueprints; wiring and plumbing installations.
• Strong hydraulics and electrical systems understanding.
• Good communication and team player.
• Willing to work overtime; on-site attendance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair injection molding machines (80T–1500T).
• Maintain conveyors, grinders, pneumatic systems, water heaters, etc.
• Troubleshoot robots, PLCs, and vision systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Construct tooling for robots and manufacturing equipment.
• Document repairs and preventive maintenance per TS/ISO.
• Keep work area clean; perform related duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY

TH Plastics, Inc., is a custom injection molder serving the appliance and automotive industries, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual for the following position in our Findlay, Ohio Molding Division.

JOB OVERVIEW

Responsible for maintaining and repairing injection molding machines.

SCHEDULE

• 2nd Shift (3:00pm-11:20pm)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two-year technical degree in mechanical or electrical maintenance preferred
• Ability to read schematics
• Capable of wiring electrical circuits and performing plumbing installations
• Experience in Injection Molding
• Good communication and able to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems
• Must be willing to work overtime when scheduled
• Previous experience or education in industrial hydraulics, electricity up to 480v, and machinery
• Regular on-site attendance

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain all supporting equipment; conveyors, grinders, pneumatic systems, water heaters, etc
• Troubleshoot robots, PLC’s, and vision systems on auxiliary equipment
• Ability to read, understand and work from blueprints
• Construct tooling for robots and manufacturing assembly equipment
• Document all repairs and preventative maintenance activities to comply with TS/ISO requirements
• Maintain clean work area
• All other related duties as assigned
