Smithfield Foods, Inc. is hiring a Plant Maintenance Technician in Grayson, KY. You will troubleshoot and repair production equipment across electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, plumbing, welding, and refrigeration systems, and maintain plant equipment to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Good mechanical skills and ability to repair industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and write and comprehend written instructions.
• Excellent attendance and dependability required.
• Knowledge of AC/DC controls.
• Willing to complete maintenance level 4 training under MTP program.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, plumbing, welding, refrigeration).
• Maintain all plant equipment.
• Perform assigned duties with mechanical aptitude.
