Job summary

Carlisle Companies seeks a Maintenance Technician III at the Prospect, CT Plant to maintain and repair mechanical and electrical systems across the facility. You will execute capital projects, install and dismantle equipment, and work independently to ensure timely production.

Expect 40-hour weeks with 8–10 hour shifts, occasional overtime, and no travel. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and hands-on leadership of technicians I & II as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex equipment and systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• OSHA 10 certification and basic safety knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Reassemble machines after repair or maintenance work.
• Start machines and observe operation to detect issues and improve efficiency.
• Inspect damaged parts and advise on repairs with supervisors.
• Calibrate controls instrumentation and maintain PLC-based systems.
• Lead maintenance technicians I & II as needed and train others.
