Job summary

Carlisle is seeking a Maintenance Technician III at the Prospect, CT plant to maintain and repair mechanical and electrical systems, lead capital projects, and ensure timely production.

The role requires hands-on expertise in PMs, troubleshooting PLCs, servos, HMIs, and drives, plus read work orders. 40-hour weeks with 8-10 hour shifts, occasional overtime, and no travel. Onsite position with strict safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Measuring gauges and precision tools used for maintenance tasks.
• Hands-on ability with micrometers, calipers and digital multimeters.
• Forklift operation and safe material handling experience.
• Strong electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system knowledge.
• Ability to read work orders and follow specifications precisely.
• OSHA 10 certification and a technical background are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mechanical and electrical systems across the facility.
• Start machines, monitor operation, and detect problems for efficiency.
• Inspect damaged parts and advise on repairs or replacements.
• Calibrate controllers and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs.
• Record maintenance data and uphold PM completion rates.
• Transport parts and materials between work areas as needed.
