Job summary

Carlisle Construction Materials is seeking a maintenance technician to maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, and boiler systems in a manufacturing setting. The role includes executing capital projects, reading work orders, and performing a range of maintenance tasks across the facility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of related maintenance experience.
• Mechanical background with rotating equipment; electrical, plumbing, carpentry, welding and boiler experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reassemble machines after repair or maintenance.
• Start machines and observe operation to detect problems.
• Inspect or test damaged parts and report defects.
• Lubricate or apply materials to machines.
• Install or replace machine parts per specs.
• Dismantle machines and move parts for repair.
• Record maintenance information.
• Read work orders to identify repair needs.
• Set up and operate machines and adjust controls.
• Move parts and tools between areas.
• Dispose worn parts and maintain clean work areas.
