Job summary

Carlisle Companies seeks a Maintenance Technician III at the Prospect, CT plant to maintain and repair mechanical and electrical systems, execute capital projects, and support production with high-level maintenance tasks. The role is 40 hours weekly with 8–10 hour shifts, some overtime, and no travel.

You will troubleshoot control systems, service motors, calibrate instrumentation, and provide technical training to junior techs while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• OSHA 10 certification required.
• 4–8 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and welding.
• Rotating equipment experience; hydraulic and pneumatic systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Reassemble machines after repair or maintenance.
• Start machines and observe operation to detect issues.
• Inspect damaged parts and advise repairs as needed.
• Lubricate parts and apply materials per procedures.
• Install or replace machine parts per specifications.
• Dismantle machines for repair using tools and hoists.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and PM adherence.
• Read work orders to determine repair needs.
• Operate and adjust machines and controls as required.
• Move parts using cranes, hoists, or dollies.
• Meet safety and regulatory policies; participate in continuous improvement.
