UniFirst Corp. is seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Tech II to join our UniFirst community. You will handle repairs, maintenance, installation and troubleshooting of industrial equipment, systems, and components in a Monday–Friday week with periodic overtime.

You will perform boiler chemical and wastewater checks, work with PLCs and control systems, and follow engineering specifications. The role requires physical effort and a safety-focused mindset.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two-year technical degree preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Knowledgeable in industrial maintenance of facilities and equipment.
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience repairing industrial processing equipment.
• Must pass UniFirst’s maintenance knowledge assessment.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to read and understand maintenance literature in English.
• Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills.
• Lockout / Tagout experience required.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.

Mansioni

• Troubleshoot equipment problems through observation and testing.
• Assist maintenance personnel with emergency and non-emergency repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment control systems and PLCs.
• Follow blueprints, schematics, manuals and specifications.
• Perform routine safety and equipment checks and maintenance.
