UniFirst Corp. is seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Tech II to join our team in California. As a Team Partner in the Maintenance Department, you will repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot industrial equipment and control systems.

The role includes a standard Mon-Fri work week with periodic night and weekend overtime and on-the-job training. You will troubleshoot equipment problems, read blueprints, support PLC systems, perform safety and boiler tests, and use a CMMS to

Competenze

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Two-year technical degree preferred.
• Experience with industrial maintenance and repairing processing equipment.
• Lockout/Tagout experience required.

Mansioni

• Troubleshoot equipment problems through observation and testing.
• Assist maintenance staff with emergency and non-emergency repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs and control systems.
• Follow blueprints, schematics, manuals, and specifications.
• Test boiler chemical and wastewater systems and adjust as needed.
• Perform safety checks on boilers and make repairs as required.
• Inspect and lubricate machinery parts and replace belts/filters.
• Perform basic welding for repairs.
• Operate a CMMS and document actions.
• Other duties as assigned by leadership.
