Job summary

Weidner Apartment Homes is seeking a Service Technician 2 to support Highlands, The Club at Eagle Point, and Wildwood properties. The role covers vacant and occupied apartment maintenance, including painting, drywall, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs.

The technician will manage time effectively, provide excellent customer service to residents, associates, and vendors, and participate in on-call rotations and property improvements. A strong mechanical aptitude is required.

Qualifications

3-5 years maintenance experience required.
3-5 years painting and drywall repairs required.
HVAC, electrical, plumbing knowledge essential.
Able to lift up to 80 pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy including painting, drywall, and repairs.
Independently perform system repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances.
Carry out carpentry, drywall repairs, and interior/exterior painting as needed.
Perform daily maintenance tasks to enhance asset value and integrity.
Maintain pools and monitor chemical balance when applicable.
Conduct daily grounds maintenance and snow removal as required.
Use company apps and travel between properties as assigned.
