Weidner Apartment Homes in Colorado Springs is seeking a Service Technician 1 to prepare vacant apartments and provide timely maintenance for residents. You will perform painting, drywall repairs, plumbing, electrical work, and preventive maintenance across occupied and vacant units.

You must be able to lift up to 80 pounds, work outdoors in all weather, and drive between properties. The role includes on-call shifts and benefits like health, dental, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 1+ years maintenance experience required.
• Painting and drywall repairs experience preferred.
• Solid mechanical aptitude required.
• Able to lift up to 80 pounds and work on ladders.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• EPA certification desired; Yardi/Paycom experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy including painting, drywall repairs, and basic carpentry.
• Perform repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems and appliances.
• Conduct routine maintenance and preventive tasks.
• Perform daily grounds maintenance and pool maintenance as directed.
• Respond to resident service requests timely and with quality workmanship.
• Participate in on-call rotation and property improvements as scheduled.
