Job summary

Woodruff Property Management Company seeks a Maintenance Technician II to support property maintenance operations, including plumbing, painting, drywall repairs, and move-in readiness for apartments. The role handles resident service requests, general upkeep, and occasional overflow maintenance across properties.

Candidate should have 1–3 years in maintenance within an apartment setting, with HVAC certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of maintenance experience in an apartment community or related field.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving ability.
• Knowledge of plumbing, heating, air conditioning, construction and electrical systems.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in, including repairs, painting and cleaning.
• Perform plumbing, painting, drywall repairs and general maintenance tasks.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests and service calls.
• Identify and report hazards during daily tasks.
• Assist with groundskeeping, trash pickup and pool upkeep as needed.
• Participate in after-hours on-call duty and emergencies.
