Job summary

ROSS Companies in Frederick, MD is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join our team. This full-time, on-site role focuses on repairing, maintaining and servicing residential properties to ensure resident comfort and safety.

You will perform preventive maintenance, handle service orders, manage inventory, and be part of after-hours emergency coverage. On-site housing is available to support rapid response and a strong connection with the community.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety equipment.
• Ability to perform repairs independently, professionally and timely.
• Initiative to pursue ongoing training and certifications.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• A valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Complete service order requests timely and accurately.
• Monitor maintenance supply inventory and inform supervisor of items requiring ordering.
• Service and maintain community equipment to ensure uninterrupted use.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, heating, plumbing and ventilation systems.
• Participate in 24-hour emergency maintenance and weather-related duties.
