Job summary

Barrett & Stokely is seeking a Full Time Maintenance Technician at Williamsburg Square in Columbus, OH. The role involves rapid response to maintenance requests, preventive maintenance tasks, and keeping accurate service records to ensure apartment readiness.

Candidates should have at least two years in maintenance, EPA certification, own tools, and a valid driver's license. On-call rotation and a customer-service mindset are essential to support the property.

Qualifications

Technical school or high school diploma/GED preferred.
Minimum two years' experience in maintenance or equivalent field.
Must be EPA certified and own basic tools to perform maintenance.
Valid driver’s license preferred and reliable transportation.
Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
Ability to pass a criminal background check.
Willing to work on an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor and update records.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing maintenance requests promptly.
Handle plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance, drywall and other maintenance tasks.
Participate in after-hours on-call rotation and respond to emergencies.
Close work orders within 5 business days of vacancy; perform unit turns as needed.
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment.
