Job summary

Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician based in West Hazleton, PA. This 12-hour night shift (6:30pm–7:00am) position offers $38/hr to $41/hr with a $1.50/hr shift differential.

Training on day shift precedes night work and a $5,000 sign-on bonus is available to external hires ($1,000 at hire, $4,000 at 180 days). The role entails installing and repairing equipment, performing preventive and reactive maintenance, and ensuring safety and quality policies are followed to meet

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two year Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field preferred.
• Minimum five years Industrial Maintenance Technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during operation.
• Perform regular maintenance on plant facilities.
• Read manuals and work orders to perform maintenance.
• Train production employees in proper operation and maintenance of machinery.
