Job summary

Graham Packaging Company in West Hazleton, PA, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 12 Hour Night (D) Shift, 6:30pm–7:00am. Training on day shift (6:30am–3pm) will occur for a few weeks.

The Maintenance Technician will handle installation, repair and preventative maintenance on production equipment and plant facilities, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Key duties include diagnosing issues, performing repairs, maintaining equipment performance, and assisting/train production

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two year Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field is preferred.
• A minimum of five years Industrial Maintenance Technician experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and plant facilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and facilities.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during operation.
• Read and interpret manuals and work orders.
• Assist and train production employees in operation and maintenance of machinery.
