Job summary

Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician II based in West Hazleton, PA for DAY SHIFT (12 hours): 6:30am to 7:00pm. The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus to external candidates, with $1,000 paid at hire and $4,000 at 180 days.

Maintenance Technicians perform installation, preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment and plant facilities, ensuring safety, quality and uptime.

Qualifications

• Two year Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field preferred.
• Five years Industrial Maintenance Technician experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills required.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety, health, quality GMP policies and company procedures.
• Perform installation, maintenance and preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts and perform repairs.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs and on-schedule maintenance.
• Train and assist production staff on proper operation and maintenance.
