Job summary

Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician based in West Hazleton, PA, for the 12-hour Night (B) Shift (6:30pm–7:00am). Training on day shift is typical for a few weeks.

Responsibilities include installation, preventive and reactive maintenance of production equipment, ensuring quality and safety, and assisting with training of staff. Candidates should have strong mechanical/electrical skills and a track record in maintenance operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; an Associate Degree is preferred.
• Minimum of five years industrial maintenance technician experience is preferred.
• Strong safety, communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on all production equipment.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs and scheduled maintenance.
• Train production employees in proper operation and maintenance of machinery.
• Maintain quality by monitoring processes and complying with GMP policies.
• Follow safety, health, quality, GMP and company policies.
