Job summary

Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Maintenance Electrician for the NIGHT SHIFT in West Hazelton, PA. The position operates from 6:30pm to 7:00am and offers starting pay of $37.80/hr with a $1.50/hr shift differential.

There is a $5,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates, plus a $4,000 retention bonus payable at 180 days of employment. The role focuses on troubleshooting, preventative and reactive maintenance of production equipment using electrical, mechanical and processing skills.

Qualifications

• Two year Associate Degree in electrical related field is a plus.
• A minimum of five years industrial maintenance electrician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, maintains and repairs industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices.
• Installs, examines, replaces or repairs electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits and lighting fixtures.
• Reads and interprets drawings, blueprints and schematics to determine layout of electrical equipment installations.
• Maintains, repairs, tests and installs electrical motors, generators, and hydraulic/pneumatic control systems.
• Conducts preventive maintenance programs and keeps accurate maintenance records.
