Job summary

Graham Packaging Company in West Hazleton, PA is seeking a Maintenance Tech II on the NIGHT SHIFT (6:30p–7:00a) to install and repair equipment, perform preventative and reactive maintenance, and support plant operations.

The role requires an Associate degree preferred and 5 years industrial maintenance experience; strong skills with hand tools, meters, and safe work practices; ability to work independently and with teams.

Qualifications

• Two year Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field preferred.
• A minimum of five years Industrial Maintenance Technician experience preferred.
• Must interact well with managers, employees, vendors and customers.

Responsibilities

• Understand and enforce safety, health, quality GMP policies and company procedures.
• Focus on producing quality by monitoring and adjusting processes.
• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts and test adjustments.
• Read and interpret manuals and work orders for maintenance tasks.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs and scheduled maintenance.
• Collaborate with team and train production staff in equipment operation and maintenance.
• Limited travel may be required.
