Job summary

Graham Packaging Company in West Hazleton, PA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot and repair production equipment on a 12-hour night shift (6:30pm–7:00am). The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, safety, and reliability to support budgeted plant performance.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, an associate degree in industrial maintenance preferred, and several years of maintenance experience. A sign-on bonus is offered for external candidates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two year Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field is preferred.
• A minimum of five years Industrial Maintenance Technician experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand and enforce safety, health, GMP and company policies.
• Produce quality products by monitoring quality levels and adjusting processes.
• Maintain plant performance to budgeted goals.
• Install and maintain production machines and plant equipment.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts and test adjustments.
• Provide emergency and scheduled maintenance on production equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines and facilities.
• Read equipment manuals and work orders to perform maintenance.
• Use hand and power tools, meters and material handling equipment.
• Assist and train production employees in operation and maintenance of machinery.
