Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician II based in West Hazleton PA for DAY SHIFT (12 hours), 6:30am to 7:00pm. The role focuses on installation, repair and preventive maintenance of production equipment and plant facilities.

The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus to external candidates ($1,000 at hire, $4,000 at 180 days) and requires strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic skills. Candidates should have strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• Two-year Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field preferred.
• Minimum of five years Industrial Maintenance Technician experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to communicate with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety, health, quality GMP policies and company procedures.
• Maintain and repair production machines and plant facilities.
• Diagnose problems, replace/repair parts and adjust as needed.
• Provide emergency repairs during operation and scheduled maintenance when possible.
• Perform preventive maintenance and read equipment manuals/work orders.
• Interact with managers, employees, vendors, and customers.
