Job summary

Graham Packaging Company in West Hazelton, PA is seeking a Maintenance Tech II for the 1st shift (6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.). The role covers installation and repair of production equipment and both preventive and reactive maintenance across the plant facilities.

Responsibilities include following safety/GMP guidelines, diagnosing mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems, reading manuals, training operators, and providing timely repairs.

Qualifications

• Two year Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field is preferred.
• A minimum of five years Industrial Maintenance Technician experience is preferred.
• Maintenance Technicians are required to interact with managers, employees, vendors, and customers. Excellent verbal and written communication is essential.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.

Responsibilities

• Understand, follow, and enforce all safety, health, quality GMP and Company policies.
• Focus on producing quality product by monitoring quality levels and adjusting processes to ensure product integrity.
• Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and plant facilities.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs and scheduled maintenance on production equipment.
