Job summary

Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician based in West Hazleton, PA for a 12 Hour Night (D) Shift (6:30pm - 7:00am). Training on day shift precedes start. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered to external candidates, with $1,000 at hire and $4,000 at 180 days.

Responsibilities include preventative and reactive maintenance of production equipment, ensuring quality and safety, and training staff as needed. Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 2-year Associate Degree preferred.
• At least five years of Industrial Maintenance Technician experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with managers, employees, vendors, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production machines and plant facilities.
• Perform reactive maintenance and emergency repairs as needed.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, and adjust equipment for optimal performance.
• Read and interpret manuals and work orders for required maintenance.
• Use hand and power tools, meters, and material handling equipment to perform duties.
