Job summary

Cottonwood Residential is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician II to perform a wide range of repairs and preventative maintenance across our communities. You will work with the Maintenance Supervisor to diagnose and resolve issues, ensure safety, and uphold resident satisfaction.

Role requires 2+ years in multifamily maintenance, EPA Type II/Universal certification, and a strong customer-service mindset. On-site role with potential on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• 2+ years of experience in multifamily property maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pool/spa, and appliance repair.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve issues independently.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests in occupied and vacant homes (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, escalate complex repairs when needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance on systems and equipment.
• Service and maintain HVAC systems including furnaces and AC units.
• Assist with make-ready processes for new residents.
• Walk grounds and common areas, maintain safety and cleanliness.
