Job summary

Cottonwood Residential is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to perform a range of upkeep tasks across plumbing, electrical, and carpentry for our properties. The role requires strong English communication, physical stamina, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.

Candidates with EPA Type II or Universal, CPO certification, HVAC troubleshooting experience, and a valid driver's license will stand out.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English for customer communication and paperwork (safety manuals).
• Lift items up to 50 lbs and maneuver in tight spaces.
• Walk/stand for long periods and climb stairs/ladders.
• Evenings, weekends, and on-call availability.
• Perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification is a plus.
• HVAC troubleshooting experience is a plus.
• CPO certification is a plus.
• Valid Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform apartment maintenance repairs including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies with support from the Service Manager.
• Maintain safety standards and company procedures during work.
• Communicate with residents and document work orders and status.
