Job summary

Cottonwood Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for The Marq Highland Park Apartments. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance systems across the community, with strong emphasis on resident service and safety.

Working under the Maintenance Supervisor, you will perform preventative maintenance, assist with make-ready units, and document all work orders in the property management system, ensuring a clean, safe environment for residents

Qualifications

• HVAC systems knowledge and ability to service furnaces, AC, heat pumps
• Plumbing, electrical, appliance repair and carpentry skills required
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs
• Ability to read and follow safety and operating manuals

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs in occupied and vacant units and common areas
• Diagnose issues and escalate complex repairs when needed
• Conduct preventative maintenance on building systems
• Maintain pool/spa and other amenities
• Document tasks in property management systems
• Interact professionally with residents, vendors, and team members
