Job summary

Cottonwood Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform a broad range of repairs and preventative maintenance across our multifamily communities. This role supports the Maintenance Supervisor, diagnosing and resolving issues while ensuring high resident satisfaction and safety.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in multifamily maintenance, EPA certification, and a strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of multifamily property maintenance experience.
• EPA Certification Type II or Universal required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues independently.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
• English communication skills and customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and carpentry in occupied and vacant units.
• Diagnose issues and escalate complex repairs when needed.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Maintain pool and spa areas, including safety checks and cleanings.
• Assist with make-ready processes to prepare homes for new residents.
• Document completed work orders in property management systems and coordinate with team.
