Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Mountain View, CA to diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance issues across our apartment communities.

The role requires 2–3 years of maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to participate in an on-call rotation. Strong communication with residents and team members is essential, along with knowledge of safety policies and PPE usage.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of maintenance experience including HVAC, plumbing and electrical work.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand maintenance policies and safety data sheets (SDS).
• Knowledge of PPE usage and chemical handling.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, and related systems.
• Complete service requests promptly and safely to maintain property conditions.
• Ensure vacant homes are turn-ready and perform turnkey repairs as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance and assist in painting interior/exterior surfaces.
• Maintain a safety-focused culture and report unsafe conditions.
• Handle hot works (brazing, soldering, welding) per standards.
