Job summary

Vivmark Residential in Pleasanton, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to maintain and repair apartment homes, ensuring residents enjoy a superior living experience. You will diagnose and fix HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and major appliances while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role includes preventative maintenance, painting support, and prompt response to service requests. A valid driver's license and on-call availability are required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of maintenance experience including HVAC, plumbing, electrical work.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation monthly.
• Ability to communicate with residents and teammates for excellent service.
• Familiarity with policies, procedures, and safety data sheets (SDS).
• Knowledge of PPE and proper chemical handling.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, and related systems.
• Completes service requests and repairs per company standards and timeliness.
• Ensures vacant apartment homes are rent-ready in a timely manner.
• Performs preventative maintenance tasks.
• Assists in painting interior and exterior surfaces.
• Maintains safety culture and reports unsafe conditions.
