Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Savannah, GA. You will independently handle work orders, assist with preventative maintenance, and support day-to-day upkeep across the community. A valid Driver's License and HVAC certification are required, with CPO a plus.

You’ll work Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with on-call emergencies and periodic events. The role offers a clear career path, learning opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC certification required; EPA standards knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs in a timely and professional manner.
• Assure all service requests are completed by Hawthorne standards.
• Repair and restore vacant apartments to make ready status for next move-in.
• Assist with pool maintenance and cleaning.
• Complete preventative maintenance according to the company policy.
• Promote good professional relations with residents, co-workers, and staff.
• Conduct on-call emergency service rotation as scheduled.
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines and company standards.
• Complete special projects as needed.
