Job summary

Ackermann Group in Miamisburg, OH is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician 2 for the Austin Park Apartments. You will perform unit make-readies and routine maintenance, support snow removal, grounds upkeep, and basic repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, HVAC, and painting.

This training role provides opportunities to grow within the maintenance trade. Ideal candidate has 1+ year maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and high school diploma.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EPA Type I & II, CAMT, or CPO certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver's license with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform unit make-readies and maintenance tasks as needed.
• Assist with snow removal and grounds upkeep.
• Handle basic repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance, HVAC, painting).
• Participate in move-in/out inspections.
• Respond to after-hours emergency maintenance requests.
• Assist in inventory management of maintenance items.
