Job summary

Ackermann Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician 2 for The Oaks Apartments in Reynoldsburg, OH. The role focuses on make-readies, routine maintenance, and responsive service across a 181-unit community.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years of related maintenance experience, EPA Type I & II (or CAMT/CPO) certifications are a plus, and a valid driver's license. Full-time hours with on-call responsibilities and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related maintenance experience.
• EPA Type I & II, CAMT, and/or CPO certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform unit make-readies and maintenance tasks for vacant and occupied units.
• Assist with exterior grounds maintenance and janitorial duties to keep community facilities clean.
• Manage pool water (if applicable) and perform preventive maintenance tasks.
• Work solo or with team to carry out intermediate repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, HVAC & painting).
• Participate in move-in/out inspections and general property maintenance per supervisor instruction.
• Assist in snow event preparation and snow removal as needed.
• Respond to after-hours maintenance requests as required.
• Support inventory management of maintenance supplies and tools.
