Covenant Living at the Holmstad in Batavia, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to provide maintenance services for buildings, grounds and equipment, ensuring safety and comfort for residents and staff. The role covers carpentry, plumbing, electrical, generator and general trades, with on-call duties.

You will inspect facilities, diagnose and repair issues, use hand and power tools, and support event set-ups.

Qualifications

• Required Degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Certificate(s): Valid Driver’s License and Certifications in applicable field
• Experience: 1+ Years

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work requests and maintenance work orders as assigned by supervisor (auto/small engine mechanics, carpentry, appliance repair, plumbing, electrical, generators, valves, fixtures, locks).
• Inspect facilities, systems and components for safety and cleanliness and identify repairs.
• Use hand tools and small power tools; maintain tools and equipment in safe operating condition.
• Troubleshoot building and equipment issues as they arise.
• Willingness to learn and expand trade knowledge; participate in on-call schedule and event set-ups.
