Covenant Living at the Holmstad in Batavia, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to provide maintenance services for buildings, grounds and equipment, ensuring safety and comfort for residents and staff. The role covers carpentry, plumbing, electrical, generator and general trades, with on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work requests and maintenance work orders as assigned by supervisor (auto/small engine mechanics, carpentry, appliance repair, plumbing, electrical, generators, valves, fixtures, locks).
• Inspect facilities, systems and components for safety and cleanliness and identify repairs.
• Use hand tools and small power tools; maintain tools and equipment in safe operating condition.
• Troubleshoot building and equipment issues as they arise.
• Willingness to learn and expand trade knowledge; participate in on-call schedule and event set-ups.

Join us!*This position will be responsible for providing maintenance services to keep the facility buildings, grounds, and equipment in good repair. In so doing, significant contributions are made to the safety, well-being and comfort of residents and employees.**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Complete assigned work requests and assigned preventative maintenance work orders as assigned by supervisor such as, but not limited to auto/small engine mechanics, carpentry, appliance repair, plumbing, electrical, emergency generators, low voltage applications, swimming pools, fire alarms, valves, fixtures, locks in accordance with campus procedures and industry acceptable standards.* Inspects facilities, systems and their components for the purpose of ensuring safety and cleanliness and identifying necessary repairs.* Must be able to use a variety of hand tools and small power tools and other power tools.
