Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to service our California community in Cerritos. You will diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and general maintenance tasks to keep the community in top condition.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in maintenance work, including HVAC, plumbing and electrical repair.
• Ability to operate with a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to participate in an on-call schedule rotation.
• Ability to communicate with residents and team members effectively.
• Ability to read and follow maintenance policies and safety procedures.
• Knowledge of PPE and proper chemical handling.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, and safety systems.
• Completes service requests promptly and to standard.
• Ensures vacant homes are rent-ready in a timely manner; performs turnkey work.
• Conducts preventative maintenance and safety checks.
• Assists with interior/exterior painting as needed.
• Maintains safety culture and reports unsafe conditions.
