Job summary

Fairfield Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support our residential community in California. You will perform daily maintenance, diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues, and prepare vacant units for new residents.

You will also participate in the on-call rotation to ensure safety and reliability across the property. The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong customer service, and the ability to work independently while adhering to safety policies

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver's License may be required.
• Minimum one year of maintenance experience in property management or related trades.
• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance and repairs in electrical, plumbing, and appliances.
• Inspect buildings and grounds for safety and cleanliness; conduct common area inspections.
• Communicate with vendors and contractors; report inventory needs.
• Follow Fairfield safety policies; participate in on-call emergencies and training.
