Job summary

Advocate Health's Lexington Medical Center in Lexington, NC seeks a Maintenance Technician II for 40 hours/week. The role runs first shift 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with on-call rotation, performing facility and equipment maintenance per codes and documenting activities in CMMS.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, maintaining patient care equipment, and responding to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Driver's license required.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2-4 Years of Experience in equipment maintenance.
• Basic computer skills such as CMMS, building automation system, Microsoft Office.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform facility and equipment maintenance per codes; document in CMMS.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment (motors, pumps, doors, boilers, etc.) with guidance.
• Maintain and repair patient care equipment (beds, wheelchairs, carts, tables).
• Maintain mechanical/electrical systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, gas systems).
• Conduct preventive maintenance and safety checks.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate repairs per plans.
• Read blueprints and manuals to complete tasks.
