Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Maintenance Technician II at Lexington Medical Center in Lexington, NC. The role is full-time, first shift (8:00 AM–4:30 PM) with on-call rotation and 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, CMMS documentation, and troubleshooting a range of mechanical and electrical systems while ensuring patient care areas remain safe and compliant.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills including CMMS and building automation systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Performs facility and equipment maintenance per codes and standards.
• Documents work in CMMS and related systems.
• Maintain and repair mechanical equipment (motors, pumps, doors, boilers, HVAC, etc.).
• Maintain patient care equipment like beds and wheelchairs.
• Respond to emergencies and on-call requests as needed.
• Read blueprints and maintenance manuals for tasks.
