Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Driver's license required.
• 2–4 years of experience in equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Performs facility and equipment maintenance per codes; documents in CMMS.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment (motors, pumps, conveyors, doors, fans, boilers, etc.).
• Maintain patient care equipment such as beds, wheelchairs, carts.
• Maintain mechanical/electrical systems (HVAC, piping, gas systems, etc.).
• Perform routine general maintenance in grounds, carpentry, painting, snow removal.
• Respond to emergencies and leaks, floods, outages, or equipment failures as directed.
• Communicate with occupants and perform zone maintenance rounding.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and safety checks.
• Inspect and repair fire doors and hardware, firewalls and partitions.
• Read blueprints and maintenance manuals to complete assignments.
