Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for Sherman Hospital in Elgin, IL. Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in equipment maintenance.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Driver's license required.
• Basic CMMS and building automation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Performs facility and equipment maintenance per codes and standards; documents in CMMS.
• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical equipment (motors, pumps, conveyors, doors, fans, boilers, etc.).
• Maintains patient care equipment (beds, carts, etc.).
• Maintains mechanical/electrical systems (HVAC, plumbing, gas systems, etc.).
• Performs routine general maintenance: grounds, carpentry, painting, snow removal.
