Job summary

Highmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to handle appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical work at our apartment community in Tallahassee, FL. You will support the Service Manager and help maintain a safe, well‑kept property.

Requirements include at least one year of apartment maintenance experience and an A/C Certification Type II or Universal, plus a valid driver's license. On‑site role with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

Experience in apartment maintenance.
Punctual, dependable and self-starter.
Willing to work a flexible schedule and on-call.
A/C Certification Type II or Universal is required.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical duties.
Assist Service Manager with tasks as required by the community.
Ensure service requests are completed correctly and timely.
Perform preventative maintenance repairs.
Respond to automated service on emergency calls per policy.
Assist with resident functions.
Participate in the ongoing community preservation and preventive maintenance plan.
