Job summary

Highmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for The Blake community in Alexandria, VA. You will perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical duties to maintain a safe, comfortable living environment for residents.

Bring at least 1 year of apartment maintenance experience, plus an HVAC Type II or universal certification. This role offers a clear path for growth, competitive pay, and a suite of benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of apartment maintenance experience.
• A/C Certification Type II or Universal.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule and on-call.

Responsibilities

• Perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical duties.
• Assist Service Manager with tasks as needed by the community.
• Ensure service requests are completed correctly and timely.
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs.
• Respond to emergency service calls per policy.
• Assist with resident functions and events.
• Participate in the community preservation and preventive maintenance programs.
