Job summary

Highmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for the Mystic Pointe community in Orlando, FL. This role performs appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical duties, and supports the Service Manager with maintenance programs.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of apartment maintenance experience, an AC Certification Type II or Universal, and a valid driver’s license. Flexible scheduling and on-call availability are required.

Qualifications

• At least one year of apartment maintenance experience.
• AC Certification Type II or Universal.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule and be on-call.

Responsibilities

• Perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical duties.
• Assist Service Manager with community needs.
• Ensure service requests are completed correctly and promptly.
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs.
• Respond to emergency service calls per policy.
• Assist with resident functions and events.
• Participate in the community preservation and preventive maintenance plan.

Responsibilities

What your day to day might look like:

• Perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical duties
• Assist Service Manager with various tasks as required by the needs of the community
• Ensures service requests are completed correctly and in a timely manner
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs
• Responds to automated service on emergency calls per company policy
• Assists with resident functions
• Participates in the ongoing community preservation plan and preventive maintenance program
