Job summary

Highmark Residential in Sky Terrace, Stafford, VA is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical duties across the apartment community. You will assist the Service Manager, ensure service requests are completed correctly and promptly, perform preventative maintenance, respond to emergencies per company policy, and support resident functions.

Qualifications

• At least one year of apartment maintenance experience.
• A/C Certification Type II or Universal.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule and on-call.

Responsibilities

• Perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical duties.
• Assist Service Manager with community tasks as required.
• Ensure service requests are completed correctly and promptly.
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs.
• Respond to emergency service calls per policy.
• Assist with resident functions and community preservation programs.

Responsibilities

What your day to day might look like

• Perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical duties
• Assist Service Manager with various tasks as required by the needs of the community
• Ensures service requests are completed correctly and in a timely manner
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs
• Responds to automated service on emergency calls per company policy
• Assists with resident functions
• Participates in the ongoing community preservation plan and preventive maintenance program
