Job summary

Highmark Residential, LLC in Gaithersburg, MD seeks a Maintenance Technician II for Sawyer Flats to perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical duties across the community. You will support the Maintenance Supervisor and help maintain safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of apartment maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and willingness to work a flexible schedule and on-call.

Qualifications

• At least one year of apartment maintenance experience.
• A/C Certification Type II or Universal is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule and be on-call.
• Punctual, dependable and a self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical duties.
• Assist Service Manager with community tasks as required.
• Ensure service requests are completed correctly and timely.
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs.
• Respond to emergency service calls per policy.
• Assist with resident functions and community preservation.
