UniFirst is seeking a reliable Maintenance Tech I to join our team. You will handle repairs, maintenance, installation and troubleshooting of industrial equipment, systems, and components in a Monday–Friday environment with possible night/weekend overtime.

On-the-job training is provided as you support boiler and utility systems. Minimum 6 months of industrial repair experience preferred; high school diploma or GED required; valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 80 lbs are expected.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two-year technical degree preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics is required.
• Lockout/Tagout experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Basic computer and MS Office skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Utilize hand/power tools and precision measurement tools.
• Ensure safe operation of machinery and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Follow blueprints, schematics, manuals and specs.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems using measuring/testing instruments.
• Perform boiler chemical and wastewater system testing and adjust chemicals as needed.
• Conduct daily/weekly safety checks on boilers and perform repairs.
• Record utility meter readings and take corrective actions when needed.
• Perform daily/weekly safety checks on location/system and address concerns.
• Inspect and lubricate shafts, bearings and gears per procedures.
• Operate a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
