Job summary

UniFirst Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to perform repairs, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment. The role follows a Monday–Friday schedule with potential night and weekend overtime, and offers on-the-job training.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, with a preferred 2-year technical degree, and must be able to read blueprints. The position requires lifting up to 80 lbs and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two-year technical degree is preferred.
• Must be able to read blueprints/schematics and understand maintenance literature in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot industrial equipment and systems.
• Perform daily/weekly safety checks and repairs as needed.
• Record and analyze utility meter readings and adjust as required.
• Follow manuals, schematics, and engineering specs during maintenance.
