UniFirst Corp. seeks a reliable Maintenance Tech II to join our team. The role involves repairs, installation, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment with on‑the‑job training provided.

A Monday–Friday schedule with periodic night and weekend overtime is typical, and experience in PLCs and boiler systems is valued. The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, a 2‑year technical degree preferred, and the ability to lift up to 80 lbs.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two-year technical degree preferred.
• Must pass maintenance knowledge assessment to be eligible.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Mansioni

• Troubleshoot sources of equipment problems through observation and use of precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Assist other maintenance personnel with emergency and non-emergency repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs and associated control systems.
• Follow blueprints, schematics, operation manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications.
• Perform boiler chemical and wastewater pre-treatment system testing and adjust chemicals as required.
• Perform daily and weekly safety checks on boilers and make necessary repairs.
• Inspect motor, belts, fluid levels, replace filters and perform other maintenance actions per procedures.
• Perform basic welding activities to effect repairs on facilities and equipment.
• Inspect, clean and lubricate shafts, bearings gears and other parts as per procedures.
• Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
